Spring Street Business Law Closes Complex Finance Transaction

Spring Street Business Law closes complex finance transaction in less than 3 weeks!

SSBL recently represented Camino Financial , a venture-backed online finance company, in the closing of its first institutional debt fund. We closed the transaction in less than 3 weeks from the time of engagement. Our streamlined process and competitive rates saved the client significant time and expense.

Being able to close a complex private debt transaction under intense time pressure is something I did on a regular basis while serving as Assistant General Counsel for American Capital Strategies at the height of the second-lien and mezzanine finance boom. At American Capital, we insourced a significant amount of the finance legal work and learned how to get deals done without all of the resources of a large law firm. That is the reason I confidently said “yes” when the principals of Camino Financial called and asked whether we could close by the end of the month (19 days from start to finish).
